This is an interesting idea, but we're no where near a place where this can happen. It would make voting easier and many politicians don't want that. Also it will probably be rife with issues of validation.

Big can of worms that. Looks good in principle but there is something very traditional about voting and the right to vote. Not sure it'll fly! Interesting to debate though.
I don't see an issue with it we put our accounts with money on the internet. A unique voter number and some security questions will make it a non issue.
