This is one addicting game.
Originally on the iPhone. Fruit Ninja is a fun time-wasting game and is now on Android. At a cost of AU 1.17 (at the time of this review it was the same as $1.17) it is an inexpensive game perfect for killing sometime during the day or unwinding at night.
There are currently 3 modes: Classic, Arcade and Zen. The classic mode you have to slice all of the fruit within 60 seconds without hitting a bomb. If you do indeed hit a bomb you get a strike. 3 strikes means game over. The arcade mode is different. You have 60 seconds to rack up as many points as possible. If you hit a bomb you lose the amount of points that’s on the bomb. It appears most of the time to be -18 points. Finally the zen mode is bombless, your goal is to get as many points in the allotted time.
Fruit Ninja is also part of the Open Feint system. This allows you to compete online with friends. So there is a social aspect to the game play as well.
Overall this game is a total knockout. Well worth the money, pick it up today in the Android Market.
